Transfer large amounts of data to real amiga
If you have say an A1200 with a CF HDD and you have done a fresh install of Workbench on it and you want to transfer a large amount of data from a pc to the amiga hdd, i.e like 500mb of modules, is there an easy way to do this???
Something that doesn't need removal of CD card for example?? |

Compact flash in the PCMCIA port, and a usb card reader for the PC? That's what I use.

pop an ethernet card in and you can copy what you need over the network. or even mount a network share as a device on the amiga via samba

Indeed, these days I prefer using Ethernet + FTP to transfer data to my Amigas. Probably as fast as it gets and much easier to keep in place if you need to transfer data frequently.
