Just read this now:

https://icomp.de/shop-icomp/en/33/it...n-germany.html

And he seems to have also bought the C64C case molds?!

What does this mean!!?

Jens has been hinting at doing something special on the C64 front for a while. I thought it was going to be new power supplies! I guess we're getting closer to the point of knowing.

I haven't "bought" Commodore, but only licensed the trademark. The owner of this trademark is Polabe Holding N.V.

What does it mean? Well, basically that you can expect a lot more developments, and extra technical checks by the tech people of Polabe, who review every product for highest quality before I am allowed to use the Commodore trademark for that.

Jens, so Polabe is actually doing what David Pleasance (Commodore UK boss) wanted to do with the brand with his planned buyout after the collapse of Commodore US?

I don't know what David Pleasance really wanted, but Polabe has a clear plan to lead the Commodore brand into a new future - away from merchandising and re-labelling cheap imported products.

They get hundreds of requests for licensing every week. Every single one of them was turned down so far, which makes me so proud of this license.

Congratulations for obtaining this license, after seeing what you did with the Commodore 64 reloaded, I'm rather looking forward to what the results will be.

Apart from me grabbing one of those C64 cases

yeah, pull the other leg, it got bells on ... or am i wrong and the individual only want to save the orphans ...

#1) the lyrics are a bit misleading, you must read it as "get ONE but now pay for TWO" - another low.

If it's an fpga based amiga in newly created Amiga 1200 cases, I hope it supports standard MIDI. It's the one thing missing from Armiga, Happiga, etc.
