New Amiga 500 Case only available to backers?

Hello, are the new Amiga 500 cases that got the funding only available to it's backers? I couldn't see a 'Buy' button anywhere on the a1200.net website. Thanks for your help.

I believe you can still buy them - contact them via the site.

For the time being, you can still pledge on IndieGoGo here:

https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/n...us-computers#/

Any pledges now can help reach the stretch goal for a recreated tank mouse shell in matching colour. Just $4,500 to go. Sorry to sound like an advert but I think that would be cool if it happens!

Do you expect something to be on sale before production hasn't even begun? Also, you won't be able to buy cases directly from the a1200.net website, all sales (1200-case, 500-case and new keys) will be through re-sellers: https://www.a1200.net/wheretobuy/

And you should give this a read too: https://www.a1200.net/faq/

IndieGoGo or Kickstarter aren’t marketplaces nor online shops.
  • When you pledge on a Crowdfunding campaign you do NOT order a product; your pledge is a contribution to the project.
  • When you pledge on Campaign Support Page you do NOT order a product; your pledge is a contribution to the project.
Taken from the A1200.net website FAQ

And, as clebin wrote, you can still support the crowdfunding on IndieGoGo to make sure you'll get a case.

Something else to be aware of - it took 2 to 3 years for the A1200 cases and we are still waiting for all the parts. I would like to think that with the experience and knowledge gained on the 1200 cases, the 500 ones would be quicker, but bear that in mind.

Thankfully i have no interest in A500's so don't need to be in on this one.
