Gauging interest: Amiga 600HD, Apollo 620, 2MB Chip, 8MB Fast
Ladies and Gentlemen
I'm not using my 600 much, and that seems a shame. I'm tempted to sell it, but a) I don't know what it's worth b) I'm not sure I want to sell it - depends on a) I might very well keep it, but if anyone is interested in the whole lot - I'll not split it - drop me a PM with an offer. Specs: - Amiga 600HD - 512MB CF Card (removable) mounted on top of PCMCIA slot - 2MB Chip (1mb on board, 1mb expansion) - Apollo A620 accelerator with fan - 8MB local FAST RAM - switch to enable/disable apollo - switch for 4MB / 8MB ram (for PCMCIA compatability) - good working order - rear tabs of case broken (common fault!) As mentioned, I might keep it so please don't be disappointed if I do. Offer away via PM please |

It is almost the ultimate A600.

I suppose I don't...
But I like my miggys to be used. I suppose it could move downstairs: the kids are rather enjoying IK+ at the moment |

Well, zero offers.
I guess that says it all really! |

You wouldn't sell it for the amount I'd offer, so no point in making an offer.
Basically it's potentially worth a lot (I'd guess above 200 euro?), but then again, not many are willing to spend a lot on the a600 (I certainly aren't). |

Well, the accel should be worth at least 90€ and probably more. I'd wager you'd get 130€ easy. Rest of the stuff, maybe 100€ or a little less, maybe more if someone would really like a complete and ultimate A600 and prefers never to open it ever
So I'd say, 250€ is not impossible at the right auction site, and I'd say ePay is the one, for the above reason. What kick is it? |

2.05... I suppose I ought to make it 3.1, but since I've got the 1200 it's really not seeing much action. It would need to be opened sometime as it's got a 620 in it, which are rather prone to falling off!

Almost, but not quite: take a look at The Extreme Amiga 600 Upgrading Page. Apollo 630/40MHz, 34MB RAM, 32GB compact flash hard disk, 3.1 ROMs, flicker fixer and PCMCIA network card. It's also possibly the only Amiga 600 with USB, thanks to a prototype clock port card. Amazingly, it all fits inside the A600 case.
It's tricky to find a buyer for something like this. I think it's incredibly cool, but in practical terms the A1200 does everything an A600 can, plus the AGA chipset and more available hardware. Unless you're building a portable Amiga, or like me are a big fan of the A600. |

But i think SubwayUSB and Silversurfer are the only Clockport Hardware that work on this Clockport, otherwise you can use the Clockport from the A602, or A603 Chipram card. My A600 use also the Silversurfer Adapter with a SubwayUSB: http://www.a1k.org/forum/showthread.php?t=11209 |

Ah, cool
I don't have a subway... To be honest, the only thing I'd use it for is transfer which is what I currently use the CF for. There's a 620 on ebay at the moment for a ridiculous price: daft, really. |
