Ah, now I see Don't smack me, but what has that to do with Retrogaming?
Wait, I think I know : You can install WinUAE on it and play Amiga games

I originally was going to put it in "News" but Cody thought it was more appropriate here. And yes, after I used WinUAE on an EEE PC at the airport I was in love with the concept of a mini-A500

That appears to be a re-branded Elonex Webbook, so for 60 quid you get what? An extra 1/2 gig of ram and some Commodore stickers? Sounds like a pretty shabby deal to me.

OpenPandora for me... There's been Via C7 based laptops in the UK before now for under 200 quid: in fact, I think it was last Christmas that they were around. As noted above, keeping the commodore tradition alive and well!

I think I'll probably just get a Pandora tbh. Looks nice, but then I like all the EE -PC type machines.

It would be great if someone would reveal the specifications. I want to know how that LCD is backlit and if the memory and storage are upgradable (or at least user accessible).

No way, 'cause it doesn't, like, have electrolytes. Or something.

It does have a VIA C7-M clocked at 1.6GHz though which makes it just a tiny bit different to the other products in that category. Going by that engadget article it's not quite out there yet.

I know that movie
Still that looks like a pretty ordinary subnotebook with a Commodore label on it to lure people like us...
