CR2032 Battery with Amiga 4000 REV D mobo

The coin battery on my 4000 Rev D motherboard has started to go bad, I notice Amigakit selling a similar looking battery (CR2032), just wondering if it is a suitable replacement?

almost certainly it is. be sure the old one wasn't rechargeable.
but that battery is 'common as mud'. practically *every* PC uses it, you can find it in many stores.. and it would be better to replace it with socket+batt for easier 'update' next time.

Better you take a photo so we can advise you, otherwise we may give incorrect info and ultimately you could damage or destroy your board.

you can get those batteries anywhere, any well known diy store will sell them, even a camera shop
