Brian the Lion AGA - Computer Combat edition

I got Brian the Lion AGA as part of the A1200 Computer Combat bundle back in the 1990s.

Recently I acquired the IPF files for Brian the Lion AGA (SPS release 0843), which I think were taken from the boxed retail release. This version asks you for a manual protection code after the first level - I tried to enter the code from my manual (which I still have) but it didn't work.

Does anyone know if the Computer Combat bundle version had this protection removed (I don't remember having to put a code in)? Or was I just doing it wrong?

If the protection was removed, I still have my original floppies (no idea if they still work) which I would be happy to post off to anyone with the hardware who could rip them for the SPS.

SPS has already preserved Brian the Lion AGA

both releases have the protection codes from manual.....

The Computer Combat release has manual protection too? I'll try it again, maybe I just typed the wrong word in last time.

EDIT: Just checked it, it definitely doesn't work. To confirm, I looked at the manual from HoL here - which is laid out differently to my manual - and it works fine with that.

So SPS doesn't have my version of this game.
