Volume VNC?

I'm setting up LazyBench, one of the options is WHLoad, which loads a sub-menu - but my Games are currently unassigned.

If I browse to SYS:Tools/BMenu/Files there is AddGames

When I click this I get an alert:

"Please insert volume VNC is any drive"

What is that? Also an unrelated question, in user-startup, what is 'NIL>' that sometimes is included, ie:

Assign >NIL: A-Games CF0:

Thanks.

VNC: is similar to CON:

It is part of ViNCEd: http://aminet.net/package/util/shell/ViNCEd

I mounted the VINCEd.adf and I no longer receive the alert asking me to insert it into a drive, but the AddGames icon doesn't do anything when I click it.

If I open the AddGames script with 'ed' via the shell it contains some echo'd lines which are the screen output that I recognise, then the key lines:

FSearch >RAM:Games A-Games: PAT=#?.info TXT=slave ALL

My games are found in A-Games, they are in folders A-Z. Will the above command work? However the pop-up doesn't even appear with the output of the echo - any ideas?

Of course the solution here is to edit the icon - changing it from:

WINDOW=VNC to -> WINODW=CON

I know because I asked the same question about a year ago
