What loads up before the startup sequence..?

I noticed that the mouse pointer can change before the startup sequence is run so what changes the mouse pointer...?

When booting Workbeach you see the Amiga DOS Shell come up, but on a CD32 compilation CD the screen is blacked out so you see nothing only a black screen, anyone know what controls the screen and hides the Amiga DOS Shell screen..?

Is there some kind of file on the partition that controls the mouse pointer and the screen..?

Thanks, looking devs and its there, the file is called `system-configuration` how do I read it, its encrypted, I can not read it with a text editor...?

Can I swap it with the one from Workbench..?

I just swapped it with workbench config and that worked..

I can see the shell now..

It's not encrypted, it's binary.

Just use Workbench 1.3 to create a System-Configuration or delete it for default boot up.
