Question Tetra Copy

Anyone know where it can be downloaded or if its on a compilation disk in the TOSEC.

A disk copier that allowed you to play Tetris while waiting

Cant seem to find it!

Remember using this program back in the day would be nice to have it on my amiga again.

Many Thanks for the Link

Probably not the best copier but before I saw the light and got an Amiga my mate had an A500 and I had an ST! AAARRGHH!

I was amazed because Tetracopy an amiga program would actually backup some some protected ST Disks.

Floppies could be a real pain murphy law was if it was protected and unable to be backed up thats the a disk that will get errors on it!

No ST copy software I had would touch them!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was PowerCopy the best copier on the Amiga?

I think Powercopy was regarded as one of the best Hardware copiers it needed a device that attached to an external floppy drive.

A lot of people also used X Copy Professional by Cachet.

Hi,

Ha, yes I remember this! A great idea to pass the time when copying disks

Just out of interest, as I have noticed it in this and Xcopy - what does Nibble do?

Good to see my disk dump of Tetra Copy and ZeroVirus III making the rounds

Would be good if the compilation disk makes its way into TOSEC.

I am not sure if I have a disk with just TetraCopy by itself instead of in a compilation. I will have to start screening through more disks to find out

For anyone interested I just screened through some more copier utility disks.

These have now been dumped and should make there way into TOSEC. They are currently available in The Zone!

I like D-Copy V3.1. If you're wanting to copy protected disks, then I think X-Copy with Cyclone is the way to go. There is also Amiga Power Copy Pro which helps with that too. I would say Power Copy Pro is most probably the best copier available on the Amiga.

Here is my choices:

Run-of-the-mill copying (non-protected disks):
D-Copy v3.1

Copying protected disks and that are having reading issues:
Power Copy Pro
X-Copy

I liked PowerCopy for formatting as it allowed you to set multiple retries! On X-Copy you have to keep pressing R on the keyboard!
