I am leaving
Sorry guys but i will be leaving EAB (asked the moderators 2 days ago to end my account), but its not due to anything that anyone has done or the shit fight happening about the OT section at the moment, but more to do with me needing focus on more important aspects of my life away from the "wonderful" distraction that EAB is and that i thoroughly enjoy.
I know that if i can't log in, then i can't be tempted to browse away through threads and enter the gaming compo which just eats up more of my valuable time I seriously need to hit things hard personally. So guys, on that note and when the Moderators eventually get around to closing my account i bid you all a fond farewell and please STOP FIGHTING WITH EACH OTHER!!! Worry about that when World War 3 starts and we are all trying to get each others cans of baked beans we have stored in our bunkers! |

That´s sad.
Why not keep your account and let somebody else change your passwort? And in a year or so you can ask for it. Anyway, all the best. See you soon... |

Or, in another vBulletin board I am a member of, the moderators often ban an account for a long period if a user specifically asks for it (for revising exams etc....). I would imagine the same thing could be done here? |

Sad to hear that matey. Maybe you return some day, when you're bored enough with the real life. I wish you all the best.

Sorry to hear you're leaving us, blade.
Don't be gone too long. You know, you'll probably find you miss us as much as we'll miss you. |

See you blade.
I understand exactly what you mean. I left quite a few times myself. It does seem to be a bit of a time waster - especially when you consider how short life is and how many important things we should be doing in that time. (...so why the hell did I just waste my time typing that? ) I'll probably do what you did and close my account too... after I post a few mind-blowing (non-potato-related) Amiga hardware pictures. Then it's "Hasta la vista, babies!" |

Sorry to see you go Blade, but understand your reasons.
I leave the board for months at a time too when I feel I must prioritise life. EAB can be addictive and that's why I'm hardly ever in IRC - I'd become an addict. I just don't log in and ignore the board if I have to and no one cares or really notices, the board goes on without me. I'd never leave forever though and I hope that your account is just suspended for as long as you need to stop temptation. Why waste all the good times and people you've met on here over the years? Just come back when you feel you can do so. |
