Delfina (iComp) and A500 ClockPort adapter (Sordan)

Hi there,

Original idea was Wicher500i, Sordans ClockPort adapter and so on... No success, since the Wicher started acting up.

I installed the ClockPort adapter and INT6 connected. (Should have with HW detection to do according to Sordan).

So. Today - I have just installed a TF536 in my A500+ with 2MB Chip.

I had always a dream to have a Delfina running in the A500 - So.... Many bucks later, here we are... However. I ran into issues.

The Delfina don't seem to be properly detected. All applications loading delfina.library say it can not be opened.

(I am somewhat familiar with how it _should_ work, since I have one in my ReAmiga1200 and a Zorro one in my A4000).

Any good ideas on what I need to do to get it working. I've seen some info about a few SMD caps that should (or shouldn't) be removed for _some_ accelerator boards.

Sounds like the Delfina is looking for a different address to the one which the sordan clockport adapter uses. Do you know what address the clockport is?

From Sordans web-page: "This design is based on the Aminet Clockport hack and also the Matthias Heinrichs design"

.... Don't know what they refer to.

I would suppose they were to be compatible with port0... But, maybe not.

Would be worth asking in the Delfina support thread on A1K

Support for numerous other clockport addresses have been added over the past year or so

Here is a link to the source-code for the unofficial version from that thread on a1k.org v4.19 I put the archive of the binary in TheZone.

No luck with delfina.library 4.19 either, sadly. Same problem.

Get me some technical details about your clock port adapter and I'll tell you what lines to change in the source code. I can't build it but maybe you can or someone on eab. Maybe submit it as a pull request to the original author

Using Delfina with a 500, Aca500plus is an option as its clock port supposedly supports it.
It has Delfina connection orientation marked on the board. Not something which helps you as you already have a TF536.
I’ve got them both but havent had a chance to try it out yet to confirm.
