Can't start fs-uae-launcher.exe [Resolved]

So i've been using Fs-uae for a few years and recently i just can't start the launcher in windows. It's killing my because i can't find anything about the error i'm experiencing. I was using 2.9.7 i think but now i've upgraded to 3.1.62 and the problem still persists. I'm hoping it's just something stupid but i've uploaded pictures of the error in the hope someone will be able to point me in the right direction.

ok so here's it in text@ An error occurred starting FS-UAE Launcher:

OperationalError('disk I/O error')

FS-UAE Launcher cannot start because of this.

And then:

It actually sounds like a problem with your hard disk ("disk I/O error"). But it's not certain. You can try to delete FS-UAE/Data/Launcher.sqlite before starting the Launcher and see if it works when it recreates the database.

But you should consider running scandisk or something similar.

I tried to delete FS-UAE/Data/Launcher.sqlite but i was unable, it kept throwing an error 0x80070091.
So in the end i had rename the whole fs-uae folder and let the launcher write a new folder/db which worked yay.

I'll try and investigate it further but thankyou for your time Frode, much appreciated
