The original engine was extremely limited in what it could do, as examples it didn't have efficient scrolling, didn't have the ability to write scripts or animations without hard coding them.
It also means that we can offer any feature we add for AlarCity to users of the Scorpion engine. |

Hi there, I ordered my copy at https://amiga.net.pl but I've noticed that the website has been down for more than a week... what happened to them?

I did the same. The website has become https://bitronic.pl
My account was still valid and the pre-order still stands.. so I guess... it's ok? |

Thanks for the info Silverstreak.
My old account is there as well with my orders history, etc... so I guess that it has simply been a move from a domain to a new one. It is a bit unusual that they didn't make a "redirect" or something similar to inform the customers, though. |

Back then I ordered the Gold Edition (CD & Disk Version)! Will it ever see the light of day?

Amiga.net.pl has changed domain indeed and all the info (as well as all orders) are still intact, so no problems there. The issue is that we were tiped about this from an unrelated source, so we were unaware this was happening. We had to change links to our site after that. Hopefully everything is fine now.
Regarding Alarcity, all I can say is we are still here and still active. Recently the engine has recieved a ton of upgrades, so at least that's one piece of encouraging news. On the flip side I honestly cannot guarantee the game to be completed anytime soon. And while this is unfair to everyone kind enough to support us, it is (unfortunately) the inescapable truth. In this case we can only offer our cincere apologies and remind everyone that the option for a refund is open and available. |

I'm sorry to post here like this, but what the hell is going on with this game? I don't want my money back, but I would like you to give closure, it clearly isn't going anywhere.
it's been five years, the developer clearly lost interest in this project, after pivoting in so many directions so many times, which is understandable. |
