The name chicken lips to describe the logo actually comes from Commodore engineers back in the day.
But originally it just meant the Commodore logo, this A500 with molded logo + NMB keyboard = chickenlips thing seems to have come into parlance in the last 5 years or so. |

we have got here one of these A500 Rev3 machines ;-) ... chick lips with the C= key on the left instead of Amiga key.
the following test program gives a different result on a A500 Rev3 board compared to boards with other revisions including A1000 ADF, pictures and source code at https://github.com/dirkwhoffmann/vAm...inttim/timcpu2 discussion at https://github.com/dirkwhoffmann/vAmiga/issues/711 the main question is "do all chick lips Rev3 Boards exhibit this difference?" In case you have access to a A500 Rev3 board, could you please run the test and help to shed some light on whether this is a systematic difference of board revision3 or if its just a single machine which has an electric flaw ? Thank you very much in advanceā¦ (if we discover here a yet undocumented difference then we might see a A500 chick lips mode in emulators soon I guess ) |
