Thanks, yes that was the tool I had in mind. However I thought it was just a download manager or frontend to download archives from the Turran or Amiga File Server, but seems it uses another source. Sorry for confusion.

It's a full manager for the files stored on Turran's ftp yes, but it will organise and update as well as delete out dated files.

Thanks. Will check the options via Ftp and the two download tools. I am most interested in the WHDLoad Game pack. Ideally I would only download once and then only download the diffs/changed files for speed and to save bandwith. Will try what works best for me this weekend.

Guess iGames does not yet support lha archives, so one would need to extract the archives e.g. via an Arexx or AmigaDos script to get them work - right?

Yes you will need to extract them on the AMIGA side.

When I download files, I get a "530 Sorry, your maximum number of connections from this IP (1) has been reached", even though I am not using a VPN and using the one Internet connection.

Trying to connect to the FTP via FileZilla and my user account I get "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". Web version works fine. I tried changing the port from 21 to 22 to no avail.

This, unlike the old Google Drive (which is now gone) is dedicated to the TURRAN FTP and comes out of my own pocket. Existing flow of donations should just about cover it though, going forward.

I had to take a break with my donations for now (this month). With everything priced through the roof, on my Veteran's disability I just don't have enough now. It IS getting that bad.

FTP service was down for some reason. Restarted it. https://grandis.nu/turran/FTP/ still worked though =)

If you are using filezilla, you need to configure it to only use one connection to the FTP. Its described in the first post in this thread.

Well.. Nice idea such a Server... Not all have such good Ideas @Turran.

2 bad that a non regged user have no upload rights.. Wanted to upload my Latest Mix to /Misc/Music/Misc/ .

I've created an account on the ftp server and managed to log into it. I wanted to upload a text file, but i can't for the life of me figure out how to create a folder. Haven't really used fpt stuff all that much to begin with.
