GUI resolution

Apologies if this has been asked before (I have searched), but is it possible to have the GUI's resolution seperate from WinUAE's? It's a bit of a nightmare if I have UAE's display settings at anything under 800 x 600.

(moved) It can't be that difficult to not post offtopic posts in beta thread.

Why do you need to use small resolutions? I don't see any point in using small resolutions anymore, larger resolution and 2x scaling fixes that. Everything looks the same.

Switching back to desktop while GUI is open is the only possible solution. I don't like that. Resolution switching speed is annoyingly slow in most LCD monitors.
