Windowed mode display clips window borders slightly

I tested WinUAE 2.5.0 with Windows Vista, with Aero disabled. From memory this was with Direct3D graphics API.

The inner two pixels of the left and right window borders are overwritten. Also, there's an unused 4-pixel high strip at the bottom between the emulated Amiga display and the status bar.

Actually inner border is not part of window border = the bug is last 2 lines missing when using your Windows configuration (Some strange backwards feature I guess again).

I guess I need VM installed Vista too.. I normally use XP and Win7 in classic mode VMs for extra testing.

By the way, which virtualisation program do you use for testing? Running VirtualBox 4.2.2 under Linux host here with a Windows XP VM, WinUAE seems to hang using all CPU when starting emulation. I guess that's probably due to inadequate graphics driver support in VirtualBox.

Also, for what it's worth the pics I took running under Wine in this thread show an extra 2 pixel rows (as opposed to 4 with native Windows Vista) above the status bar.

VMWare Workstation. It has quite nice Direct3D support compared to other virtualization software. Unfortunately it isn't as cheap as VirtualBox.

VMWare Player is free though, so I might try that in the hope its 3D support is as good.

Confirmed under Vista+classic mode. Status bar height calculation wasn't as simple as I originally thought (It does work with XP, Vista with aero, 7 and 8 but not Vista without aero..)

Will be fixed.

Did it also happen on XP with the classic theme (or the theme service disabled)? Because that looks pretty similar to non-Aero Vista.
