Where to find A3000 Superkickstart 3.1
I found an old A3000 recently that I thought had a bad hard disk in it. I was able to make a superkickstart floppy and it will boot from that OK and then mysteriously it sees the hard disk and tries to boot Workbench 3.1.
So it seems someone removed the 3.1 ROMS and put back the 1.4 or else they had some other way to boot the system. Anyway, I looked through all my TOSEC stuff and I don't see superkickstart files. Does anyone have the 3.1 devs:kickstart they can send me so I can get it working? |

Alex, what version is the bonus in your 3.1 superkick image?
The newest I have is $VER: bonus20 37.14 (5.5.91) |

I have no idea how to tell so I just hexedited the ROM.
It says bonus20 37.14 (5.5.91) near end of the file (which is where it is supposed to be). Very strange. Just a few bytes before this the data as ASCII reads; "What secret messages?" Heh, I wonder what that was for? Last edited by alexh; 20 January 2008 at 00:18. |

Ok, that was the last bonus then. It's a wonder they perfected it so early on, that's why I always wondered can it really be the last one. |

I've got a 40.1 bonus here (15.2.93). It's from a 40.70 rom.

You've read the wrong value, from the wrong part of the ROM.
Bonus20! Not Bonus Easy mistake to make. Mine too has bonus 40.1 (15.2.93) |
