Anyone knows if the sources for any of the more advanced 3d-poly engines were ever released to the public... as open source?
Would probably be a nice starting point for any idie-teams or individuals that wanna play around with 3d on Amiga without having to re-invent the wheel just to get to the "fun" part ;-)

The driving phase in Beverly Hills Cop - had a decent frame rate, good polygon count and more colors than usual

Wow, I never knew about this game. Teh driving state looks pretty good indeed. I love how the trucks explode after being hit by a few pistol bullets
