Happy Computer / Power Play was the greatest until 1992, and then the first two or three years of PC Player were pretty good as well. Yeah, sorry for mentioning a PC magazine, but that one simply was good! As for Amiga magazines, both Amiga Joker and Amiga Games had their quirks... Joker certainly was the more entertaining one, but the information they published was simply too often badly researched or even completely made up (CD1200 by Commodore anyone?).

Steve: I didn't mean they made it up, what I meant is that they only had some pictures and maybe a vague description of the technical capabilities from Commodore, and they made a 'review' out of it! There are many more examples, they 'reviewed' games of which they had only seen a few screenshots quite often.
