Tried MiamiDX. Seems promising. I am able to get an address from the router using DHCP which is some true benefit as compared to Genesis. However was not able to find my network adapter's driver 3C589 under MiamiInit which lists only "others". And as there is no way to select the 3C589.device (no file selector), I simply left MiamiInit and started directly MiamiDX.
Then under MiamiDX I am able to get online through the online button within the "Interface" item. However, I am not able to connect through the general "Online" button. Also don't know how to save the configuration as everytime I restart MiamiDX, have to fill in the parameters again. |
