PowerUP Registration
Since it is not exactly known how many PowerUP Dual Processor and Graphic Boards were made I want to get more precise numbers and break it down in each models with a PowerUP registration based on the serial numbers. Please help and submit your PowerUP model and serial number with the following forms.
http://powerup.amigaworld.de/index.php?lang=en&page=39 Please spread this news to any other resources and friends. |

Has it been confirmed that WhichAmiga can tell you the s/n?
I'll have to pass on checking my s/n on my CS PPC because I don't want to dismantle my whole tower case and remove the board because I'll bet something will give me trouble then as most old amiga hardware does when you fiddle too much with it. |

yeah, whichamiga tells the serial number, but you need to have boards.library in LIBS:
, grab it from here: http://main.aminet.net/util/libs/board223.lha |

Will check it out when my A4000 is back in action..had to remove here and put my new Mac at her place. As soon as my WindoZZzze machine is gone I can fire up my A4000 PPC machine again because then the Mac take the PC's place. Only have room for three computers here |

This is the first update for 2008 and we do have now more than 570 registered PowerUP cards in our database. We added also a new statistics page with estimate production numbers based on the serial numbers we got.
The new statistics can be found at http://powerup.amigaworld.de/index.php?lang=en&page=43 We are still counting... |

I registered a BPPC and BVision yesterday....
Would like to see the geographic spread, PPC Speed, 68K upgrade history and number of dupe registrations made etc. It would be nice if the site could tell you if your registration was a duplication. Time for a stats update...? |

Well, my idea was to give some more details but if I put everything online I am not sure if it will be going to be too complex. The last update on the site was 23.02.2009 as I always update it every now and then.
The database is not online. It is a simple Excel sheet. I wanted to move it into a database system when I have some spare time left. Maybe it will be just an offline database. |

The world-leader in information about the phase5 PowerUP system is pleased to announce another update which brings the database to more than 700 registered PowerUP cards. Thanks a lot.

Nice work DJBase! Many thanks.
Certainly makes me worry where all those other 4300ish cards have gone though... |

Well, I guess most of its users haven't registered and many are dead or somewhere missing in the basement.

You're talking about the cards, not the users, right?
