@Kipps
The GVP RAM SIMM's only came in 1,2 4 and 16 - as far as I know there were no 8MB SIMM's made. GVP RAM SIMM's are 64pin and proprietary - not the same as Apples 64PIN SIMM standard I did some buzzouts and for 4MB (i need to update this) its easy to adapt a 72pin SIMM via a piggy back and hot glue - however its not going to fit in a destktop. |

I'd like to take a peek at the setup, if i could convert a 16mb simm that would be ideal. Gotta love a challenge @cpjac64. The simms i need are the earlier Simms that are 64 pin |

the GVP RAM is its own proprietary 64 pin design, its not compatible with any other 64PIN SIMM technology that I am aware of.
I have some research in this area - with a view to make compatibles - but 4MB is pretty pathetic to be honest, I will be sourcing a 16MB GVP SIMM when funds/pocket money/wifie allows =) |

@cpiac64
my thanks for the link, this proves helpfull for the 4MB SIMM's now to get my hands on a 16MB one, although I may not need it as all the address lines are detailed in the schematic =D My hope is to build / have built much cheaper (and faster) 16MB compatibles |
