Final Command - Ubi Soft

No WHDLoad exists for this Point n' Click Adventure! So if any of you regular WHDLoad coders want to support it then the CT RAW is in the ZONE: FinalCommand.7z

Seems it's a standard ADOS disk with protection on both sides of track 80!

I gather Iron Lord, RanX and Puffy's Saga also use the same protection.

And all three of those games have WHDLoad installers, so supporting Final Command should be possible

Your dump is good, but it has been modified. I see 4 tracks tampered.

Probably Save Games then from previous owner Which 4 tracks are they? If SPS 1964 is the same I can write those 4 tracks back and make it like retail!!

Thanks for checking

*EDIT*

Just checked and file PARTI1.FC1 is a saved game, differs from the file on SPS 1964! The manual says to press F1 to save and F2 to load BUT that is not correct as it's S to save and L to load so loaded PARTI1.FC1 and it loads another part of the game, the other 2 files PARTI2.FC1 & PARTI3.FC1 are identical to SPS 1964.

My pleasure. You have indeed the IPF 1964 in english if you want to restore your original (if your disk is in good shape enough).

Which tracks do you see as altered though?

I converted both SPS and mine to ADF using trackdisk in WinUAE then loaded them in ADF Workshop and Cylinders 40, 42 & 43 show different CRC. I gather ADF Workshop shows a Cylinder as containing Side 0 & Side 1?

So it shows potentially 6 tracks modified as it doesn't say if it's Side 0 or Side 1.
