PS3 Controller Problems

Thank you for this truly great UAE version. Loving it. But i do have an issue.

I mainly use an original Sony PS3 controller for gaming.
It's connected using a Blutooth dongle, the motionjoy drivers and BetterDS3 for configuration.
I use an XInput standard XBox360 profile so most games recognize it as wireless 360 pad without issues.

FS-UAE recognizes it as "XInput Controller" in 2.5.27dev or as "Controller (XBox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows)" in 2.4.1 version.
Both version have the same issue.

The issue is that my button presses are registered as random other buttons.
It starts when configuring it in the settings, and only gets worse while gaming.
It makes the controller pretty much useless.

I have other controllers that work flawlessly. A copycat 360 gamepad with abysmall D-PAD (-.-'') and a very old Gravis Gamepad.
Both of them work fine but i would really prefer to play with the PS3 pad.

Any ideas?

Try using a DS4 with ds4windows - that works fine.

@Hatman Does your PS3 controller work properly as an gamepad device in other applications/games? It sounds very strange that button pressed should register as random other buttons... (and I have problems imagining that this could be an FS-UAE bug).

It is important the the PS3 controller drivers you are using makes it appear as a "normal" joystick device or xinput device (or at least as normal as possible), and that no fancy remapping to key press functionality is enabled.

If the gamepad does not work reliably in the launcher mapping tool, it will not work properly in FS-UAE either.
