Epson Printer distortion?
How does one go about getting non-distorted output from the Epson printer emulation? I've tried Using the EpsonX driver with the 9 pin mode and the EpsonQ driver with the 48-pin mode and no matter what I try, I get squashed text and images that either flow over the edge of the page or don't even fill the entire width of the page. I've even tried different print densities and things on the Amiga end. Does anybody know how to get Epson emulation working properly?

Because this feature is made just because it can be made and is mostly never practically needed (only for really really ancient programs that are hardcoded to use Epson control codes), I need much more information and some proof that it actually works wrong (and that it is emulation problem).
Looking wrong does not mean it actually works wrong. |
