You're probably going to have to split that lot to get it sold, so let's have some details and pics, if possible, please.

oooh, i didn't expect replies so quickly! Okay so heres a list of stuff, would prefer not to split cos its at my parents house and having 50 people round might upset them but if needs be!!
I haven't got around to taking photos yet or writing the issue numbers of magazines but can do at end of the month when I'm next back there, but I HAVE tested all the boxed games and all except games 37-55, which came in a big box with the computer which is somewhere in the attick probably I can't find it but will try! I can't get Robocop 3 working on the A1200 even with the dongle thingy that came in the box, it loads and plays the intro and then crashes once you select the level - it definitely worked at some point - but that may have been on my A500+ which I sold about 15 years ago! Is it just a vanilla A1200 or does it have a RAM or accelerator card?
Is it a commodore one or Amiga Technologies? Kickstart 3.1 or 3.0? White or gone slightly yellow? |

games 1-36 all boxed with instructions etc, all in pretty good condition except pro tour tennis which the box is squashed (and the disk has fallen out in the attick somewhere will find soon though!) games 37-55 come in 1 box, came with my A500+ computer, think its called "big box" or something equally exciting - but some games are great like eliminator and xenon II. games 56 onwards are without boxes sadly...
computer is not very yellow as has been boxed for some time now, not sure how the scale goes. if you need pics though, will have to wait until after 28th July. Its Commodore, I think I got it xmas 1993, although it arrived in Jan 1994 some time just as my parents packed me off to boarding school. Thanks Commodore I THINK its kickstart 3.1 but will have to check. No hardware add ons like RAM or accelartor I'm afraid just as it came. I still thought it was amazingly fast, it only took a quarter of an hour to create a vista landscape compared to an hour on Amiga 500 plus! I made such a good use of my childhood... I can post if its worth my while, not excited to sell 1 game for a tenner if it costs me a fiver to post, would prefer to sell a whole load of stuff in 1 go and preferably for collection but happy to hear offers... |

It seems I wont be able to pick this up as I will not be visiting that neck of the woods after 18th or so.
I don't suppose it would be possible to pick up and pay your parents? Should we come to agreement on price? |

what do you want to offer?
If you did this I doubt you would get the pro tennis tour 2 game or the magazines as they are in the attick. To be honest, fairly unlikely, but if you make an offer I can't refuse maybe I can figure something out |

@llama1978
Your best bet (if I may suggest) would be to put up a starting price for what you want - This will give people the ball-park idea of what the kit will cost. It would be an idea that you could offer a reduction with collection as there are no postage fees packaging or other such stresses of cost to worry about. Hardware Sale(s) In regards to large collections as its been said, it might be better for a volume of sales (as well as financially to you) to part out the collection. If you have a value of you items in mind then share it with the community and if the community is interested they will make offers accordingly - having a price in mind means you can use www.amibay.com to sell your items, or in the worse case scenario there is always evil-bay.... but to be honest with eBay you take a chance for it to go either-way. Software Sale(s) Personally I would look at selling big title games as seperates and group lesser titles together in small bundles for what you beleive is a reasonable cost. This will improve the efficiency and speed of you sales as well give you and the buyer the better vaule for money spent. hope that helps. |
