Same here but only have a 2.1gig harddrive in mine.
Don't want to sell it though...regret that I sold my '030@42mhz A600

I have the same A530 setup with AmigaZ, hehe!!!
Not for sale this one, it's really nice to run an A500+ with 10mb ram

I also use it to surf the net with IBrowse 1.2, it goes pretty well...

Be a little patient, I was searching for my A530 for years, and I finally bought it at ebay for approx. 30 euros, INCLUDING the 2Mb chip A500+! The one and only solution for such a bargain is PATIENCE and often search around the auctions!

Yeah...have patience and you'll find one eventually.
Found mine on Ebay too, paid around $120 for mine, it had the original 120mb hd inside and 8mb fastram.

Ever thought of replacing your non mmu '030 with a full 50mhz '030 and exchange the clock crystal?

Have a full 68030 here lying around but I'm too lazy at the moment to fit it, also need to replace my leaking battery on my A500+

Here´s an auction that might be of any interest and ends today, AMIGA 500 TURBO BOARD E-Matrix 530 / Viper 530 !! At the moment it´s at 80 GBP and the seller seems to be an Atari freak. For those who are not so great in German, the seller says that he hasn´t got the time to test it and therefor sells it as defective ... as this is a very rare card it strikes me by surprise that he won´t have it tested to get more money out of it

The guy who buys this should first test it on an A500 that he can sacrifice or send it to JJ at amigacenter in France for testing.
I bought a DCR Viper 520 which was also sold as "untested", "defective" and it fried one A500+ and one A500

I think that ANYONE can find an A500 and test such a thing! Not really worth paying 80+ GBP and killing a couple of A500s!!!

That´s why I won´t bid on it. If he were an unknown seller with no feedback then you could blame him of ignorance and lack of knowledge, but this guy sells more than one special Amiga hardware thing and loads of Atari stuf, so he MUST know more about it ...

Had to buy another A500+ from Ebay.de because I couldn't wait to find a good deal on one here in Sweden.
They sell for peanuts in Germany compared to here and they're still very common here but I guess people still have them stored away and not aware that they have them and sell them.

I also noticed that the same seller also sells a HURRICANE 500 and an A500 EUREKA 4 MB Ram expansion, both untested and therefor sold as defective ... he could get at least the doulbe out of it if he would have called a friend to have it tested ...

@TheCrow: Yep, I found the 530 in an A500+ set, and it was ONLY in the photo, the description said something about a 'festplatte' without details, but I recognized the thing at once

Well, this is how a bargain can be made, just a bit of patience and search in A500 auctions without FANCY titles, if you know what I mean...

@AMIGAZ: You are right, GERMAN ebay is simply the best place for Amiga and general Commodore bargains, and the have cheap postacge, too

I am also sad for your fried Amigas, I really hate it when such a thing happens, anywhere in the world! I also fried a couple of them in the past, during my lousy 'experiments'!
