Transfer from Amiga to Mac with Zip100 disk.

Hi all,

I know many Amiga users have Zip drives, but I've never seen this mentioned before.

Format a Zip100 disk as a PC disk using the Amiga & put some files on it...Mac OSX can read it, as Workbench formats it as Fat12!

The only drawback is that it will only be partitioned to 24mb capacity, but still handy if you need to get something from Amiga to Mac in a flash

Format it with FAT16, you should be able to read the whole capacity then!

I tried formatting it on the Mac as Fat16...Amiga won't read it (NDOS thing).

Do you mean there is a utility to write and a driver to read Fat16 for Amigas?

I'm pretty sure you can format them with fat95 (on aminet here: http://aminet.net/disk/misc/fat95.lha)...

Although it's been ages since I used a zip on my amiga, All I remember is the little crossdos icon appearing when I put a zip disk in!
