Twistin' Ghost's MIA Listing

OK, so I blatantly ripped off Cody's subject. See you on People's Court!

This thread has been modified because I removed the box art for the games that have been found, plus I moved everything to a master listing below. Thanks to all who have helped find so many of these games!

OK, I found one of my old wants lists, struck the titles that I've gotten since then, and am left with a few that have yet to be realised. I will bypass the ones that are already on Cody's list.

I've also won Striker No. 9 in an auction recently, so I'll image the disk when I receive it.

This may be the same game or just another game by the same team, but authors of Grossmeister above, Dark Horse, also did Chessmate.

Nautilis I thought Bernd mentioned once. I think he sid it was better than Silent Service. Maybe he can help with that one, Twist.

I was wondering if Striker (Impressions) was the same as Striker No. 9.

This confirms it, because Energize was Impressions' budget range, so the box just has a different name from the actual game titlescreen.

Yes, it looks like they are the same.

in the intro it says: "Angels + Defjam present Striker Number 9 from Impresssions"

and here is the title screen:

Happy Sinistar

BEWARE COWARD..........

.......RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGHHHH!!!!

:laugh

A definite classic, no question. A very scary game indeed when the Sinistar gets built and he comes chasing after you. The only gripe I have with this shmup is it's far too hard. I can complete L1 fine but L2, the difficulty just seems to skyrocket. Is it just me or have other people noticed this?

I loved MJs latest

I played Gyruss on MAME recently and I'm amazed at how well they ported it to the C64 (since that's the one I've been playing for years). Good job

Yeah, the C64 version is BRILLIAN, but it's easier than the arcade one. I suck at the arcade version
