Amiga music meets piano
Hi ho
I often play Amiga game music on my piano and this morning I thought: "Why not record some of this stuff?!" Note: the strings are just a switched on dual voice These tunes are quick recordings, so don´t expect perfect songs. I hope you like it. So I start with interpretations of: Golden Axe InGame http://www.amiworx.de/files/1.GoldenAxe.mp3 Cannon Fodder InGame http://www.amiworx.de/files/2.CannonFodder.mp3 Apidya Credits http://www.amiworx.de/files/3.ApidyaCredits.mp3 Shadow Of The Beast III MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/4.ShadowOfTheBeastIII.mp3 Lethal Xcess MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/5.LethalXcess.mp3 Hero Quest InGame http://www.amiworx.de/files/6.HeroQuest.mp3 Death Mask MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/7.DeathMask.mp3 Z-Out MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/8.Z-Out.mp3 Powder MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/9.Powder.mp3 Amberstar MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/10.Amberstar.mp3 Jim Power MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/11.JimPower.mp3 Death or Glory MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/12.DeathOrGlory.mp3 Turrican II MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/13.Turrican.mp3 Shadow Of The Beast Title/Level1 http://www.amiworx.de/files/14.Beast.mp3 R-Type MainTheme http://www.amiworx.de/files/15.R-Type.mp3 Front- & Backcover on www.amiworx.de Last edited by viddi; 21 May 2008 at 09:05. |

Superb, you talented so-and-so. I've been learning the piano for 2 years now (in my 30s) and need to hear things like this to keep me inspired.
Great work - more please! |

Can you beat Hülsbeck's "Turrican 3 Piano Suite" from his Number Nine CD?
btw: I would like to hear the end credits from Apidya. |

I wanted to do the Apidya Level 1 song.
But you´re right: The credits tune is a great idea!! @ Graham: Well, I´m a little perfectionist from time to time. Damn, I wanted to do some songs this afternoon but my A4000 wants me to repair her OS after installing the StarFighter-patch!! ARGHHH. |

Do you know the Immortal III compilation? Matthew Owens "Death Mask (Something Evil)" is one of the best rearranged Amiga soundtrack i've ever heard. A pure piano suite would be awesome.
