XCopy pro TNG

I Get the following when running X-Copy - The Next Generation & Tools (1994-07-19)(ASI)[WB] (Tosec name)

attached are my logs and a screenshot of the problem

Happens in 1.3.4 (->moved from beta thread) and most likely program bug. (or expects specific memory configuration)

I'm curious as to why anybody uses disk copiers like X-Copy under emulation anyway! What is the point? You can copy files easier in Explorer than mucking around with X-Copy! For fixing and re-organising disks, there are much better and system-friendly tools available.

True, but it's nostalgic. Sort of like loading a Spectrum .TZX file at normal speed!

Sometimes, I use X-Copy for specific track(s) copying.

I use it if I want a 1 : 1 copy.
Using DiskCopy or AmigaExplorer (if that is what you meant) usually writes the blocks sequentially everywhere it finds some empty space. But if blocks (ADOS source disk) = blocks (ADOS destination disk), a destination disk is easier to fix, as the block headers etc. are at the same position.

I think codetapper is talking about copying the files in windows explorer (ie making a copy of the adf file).
