is it possible to fix the broken tiles water files in future tank by copying the files from the fixed whdload version resulting in a 100% working adf?

Future Tank WHDLoad is no files version, it's a Ndos disk image (disk.1). You would need a new disk imager which rips the game to files. Maybe it makes more sense to crack the new provided disk dump from eggsplosion.

and then it will ask you if track 0 and 1 are amigados, you press 'Y'. The other tracks are seen as RN PDOS as you can see in your paste (robnorthen)
just did what you said, but i think it did not work:

was using WWarp 1.28 [build 1329] (06.05.2008)

ok, then forget the wwarp nameofthegame.wwp F

Just write back the image once created, it will ask to write the track as amigaDos, answer Y.

this does not work, I think:

Quote:
wwarp MortalComat-D1.wwp W
testing drive/dma speed at track 0, $317C.0 $317C.0 $317C.0 $317C.0 $317C.0,
using writelen $3194.
writing track 0, $error sync must be set
thats all. winuae prompt me, i have to use a custom adf - so i tested an empty adf and an empty custiom-adf. both gave same result.

Once you have the WWARP images, you must pass them on a regular A1200, and write them.

It's impossible to copy an MFM protected game on ADF disks. The goal here is to make the tracks shorter, so that you can copy back the original disks on fresh disks.

he has an A500 kick 1.3 only (!?) - his gaming machine.

edit: I guess i understand (again?!) - the resulting disks still have some MFM/RN stuff on it, which cannot get saved in an adf?

then there is only one solution : asking our friends at Flashtro if they want to make a version which takes only 1 drive instead of 2. I'll go asking them.

ok, kinda makes sense. i don't know anything about amiga disk structures but i get the gist of what your saying. shame i don't know anything about cracking games either unfortunatly lol.
it's a shame because i played some on future tank and it's a pretty good game for the age and genre. it would be nice to have a non corrupt adf for this game.

no, for only one bad cracked game it's not enough to buy external floppy..
If they fix it, all real common amiga 500 users can enjoy in your collection games.
Ps.there are news about team Flashtro?

I got an answer, if they do it, the game will be 3 disks and not 2 like the original, even with the compressors we have today.

yes , great! there is no problem for 3 disks. Important is that work at 100% in common Amiga 500 with 1mb and one floppy drive.

Hey Mai...

When I was going through my old Amiga disks, I think I might have found several cracks or variants of cracks that aren't in TOSEC, beyond all of the Melnok cracks. I didn't make a list at the time, but if you want, I can try going back through them again and cataloging them.
