Floppy Drive Emulation Speed...
Hey guys,
Just a quick question relating to the increase in speed of Floppy drive emulation speed. I'm assuming this just improves floppy disk loading times... Does this have any adverse effects to games in any way? How much would you increase this by? Is 200% a safe increase? Cheers.

The "turbo" setting gives some incompatibilities, but the % values are safe, even 800%.

I wouldn't run any copy protected (IPF) games at anything else by 100%. Many might be okay, but you could get the protection checks failing on a lot of games.

Disk speed slider does not apply to CAPS images.

Yeah me too. Get sick of waiting sometimes... Like you say, good to know the info about .ipf files also

Turbo-setting is ignored if "non-standard" image is inserted (extended adf, ipf, fdi etc..)
