BZIP2 for XFD

I'm looking for a bzip2 client for xfdmaster. Already searched the Aminet, but couldn't find it. Is there any?

I already have this xpkBZP2 library and the xpk client for xfd. Thus it should've worked already.
After a few more tests it turned out that even xpk cannot handle my .bz2 files. I used the original bzip2 cli tool to compress the files. Maybe it's algorithm is slightly different from the one xpk uses?

Bingo! xpk's BZIP2 IS different from the original. If I use xPack to crunch a file it can be decrunched with xpk and xfd too! The other way around, the original BZIP2 can't handle xpk's, nor does any other decruncher.

aah yeh. that makes sense. it will make/decrunch xpk compressed files, and they will contain a header etc, specific for xpk.

however: I think this is what you want. ok not xdf but xad, which should still be useful - funnily enough made by a guy I know, so I really dont know how i didn't remember

Thanx, but I really can't use xad plugins here. I have lots of text files (guides, docs etc.) and my intention was to crunch them all and open each with XFDGuide, an AmiGuide/text viewer which uses xfd to automatically decrunch the file before showing it. And - to be even more niggling - bzip2 seems to be by far the best packer for ASCII contents.
I think I can live with that xfd-xpk combination. As long as XFDGuide is able to handle those xpk crunched files I'm a satisfied customer.
