Syndicate + Data Disk

hi , Been playing quite a bit of Syndicate lately through whdload on my CD32 , and was just wondering if anyone knows how you actually install and play the extra missions?

done a bit of googling and seems to be different ppl saying different things,so im unsure how to progress.
i have syndicate installed but not the data disk as yet,but i have the lha file on standby

any idea anyone

When playing from floppy, you substituted the mission disk for one of the original disks and it replaced the American levels with new versions. So I suspect it's simply a matter of replacing the data files with the updated versions from the data disk. I did it back then on my own machine, and I'm pretty sure that's how I did it. Just make a full backup copy of the Syndicate drawer first!

To be exact - in order to play American Revolt, everytime when original game asks you for disk 4, insert American Revolt disk. When playing from hard disk, do exactly like Daedalus wrote - backup your original Syndicate drawer and overwrite all the data from original game with those coming from American Revolt disk.

thanks guys , i think ill complete the original 1st then have a go at the data disk,altho ive read its meant to be rock hard lol

Yes, it is harder but the biggest problem is that Amiga version contains only new levels without any other features that AR introduced. This is why it is harder.
