Rarity - The Puzzle Gallery - At the Carnival is now in HOL
Hi guys,
Since the last few days I had contact with TCD here at the EAB. I give him some rare screenshots of missing games, like Earl Weaver Sats Disks 1986 and 1987, the complete missing scans and Screensshot from the Tracksuit Manager 2 Series, some german games but also the Boxscans, Screenshots Diskscans for a so far complete missing game. The Game is called The Puzzle Gallery - At The Carnival. Most peoples think it was never released or have never heard of it. The game was originally from Cliff Johnson and he did it for MacIntosh. On Macintosh it was a Program Disk and At The Carnival was the first Datadisk. Puzzle Gallery was developed as the follower of the Puzzle Game Fools Errand. But the the critics and the selling was so poor that there was no further datadisks. The Amiga Version was planned by Miles Computing, but before the release Miles Computing get bankrupt and the Game never released. In 1993 it was german publisher Soft Gold which bought the rights and they bring it out in there Blue Line TopShots Budget Series. Boxed and with a short german manual. So this was a really rare game on Amiga, published 4 years later, than planned but so far I never see an other Box than mine. You can“t find also a download Version on the net for Amiga and you find just information about the DOS Or Mac Version. I wrote an article in the Amiga Future 134 about that story and we were allowed to get the game on the Cover CD. So this is the only way to find that game. So many Thanks to TCD for his work. |

@TCD - there is Cliff Johnson credited in title screen (twice), he should be added to credits.

I had email contact to Cliff when I searching things for the article.
He told me he had nothing to do with the Amiga Conversation. And he did not really ike it. If there is an entry than just because the idea of the game is from him. Last edited by AMIPEGUSER; 12 July 2022 at 01:34. |

Except if it is an hires game, it looks like the screenshots on HOL are twice too big.
Sad the game is only available on a cover CD. It reduces the audience... |

By the way TCD, is it a mistake or on purpose that the HOL link leads to :
http://www.amigafuture.de/kb.php?mode=article&k=4234 instead of : https://amigafuture.de/app.php/kb/viewarticle?a=5531 ? |
