A500 lha problem
I am trying to decompress WHDLoad_usr.lha on a A500 HDF emulation and get the error "Can't open version 36 of graphics.library".
Does somebody know what is missing? Thanks in advance |

yeah use a newer version of the OS or get an older version of LHA
Alternatively decompress with WinRAR or something and copy over |

DOS Error #205: "Object not found" complains about an undetectable Installer program.
Bip is right ... Your OS is actually too old for the things you want to do with them. BUT ... there's always a solution. There is an Installer for the WB 1.x series as well! (v1.25) It's not on Aminet, but it can be found anyway. But there's absolutely no warranty that this will work with some of the newer WHD scripts. Some absolutely require the new installer. It's also on Aminet, version 43.3. (OS 2.0 or higher ONLY!!) Last edited by andreas; 02 October 2004 at 18:33. |

So that means it works only with kickstart 2.x and higher
Too bad, there are a lot of old games which would be nice to have on hard disk. So I'll have to try different variations and combinations Danke Andreas, Deine Antwort war sehr hilfreich fuer einen Beginner wie mich |

Why not just create an OS2.0+ HDF?

It keeps going on with error messages, even with OS2.05 now.
lha extracting was no problem. Installing whdload and installer_43_3 open "Unable to open your tool 'installer'". What does that mean now? |
