That is hopefully not too hard to port, pretty simple gameplay and no more than 16 colors on screen

I remember I had a playable demo of Xevious on the Amiga, but I do not remember the name.

Hello Toni !

First, I will never thank you and your team enough for giving us (Amiga community) a great version of King's Valley, wich is my All time, All platforms, favorite game.

I would like to ask you the status of your current version of KV. Is it over, or would you accept a few suggestions ?
Playability is excellent, however, in the sound department a few little things are lacking to reach the excellent MSX version's atmosphere.

I would be glad to give you more informations about that.

Regards.

Congratulations indeed and thank you!
I just created the real floppy from ADF and tested on Amiga1200 + V1200, the game works fine.

Just a game on the fly before going to bed seemed quite demanding ...

Hello Logo, sorry, the game is 100% finished and closed, the coder spend all the fuel on it.

As the game is completely playable, it is true that we missed small details on it. But we are very happy and proud to make the game like Konami would do.

The reason that the game got MSX SCC sound is because me, I get the SCC samples and Narcisound did a wonderful soundtrack with it. In my point of view, this kind of sound fits in the game perfectly, much better than trying to do with real instruments.

OK Toni ! Thanks for your answer. My main concern isn't the soundtrack but some missing sound effets wich Konami probably wouldn't forget (they occure when pushing rotating doors and opening doors to finish levels). However, you made the game for Amiga, they didn't... I will have to live with that.

Sorry, I have to leave, tons of gems are waiting for me in Egypt.;-)

Nice!
I'm a bit puzzled though why they are being haunted by giant penises?
Maybe that's revealed at the end of the game...
Ooh, I love a good mystery!

Enjoy the (incomplete sound effects) game. Choose the modern sound effects to hear the rotating door and hear me screaming haha.

Oh, trust me, I do enjoy it.
I didn't know about the rotating doors in modern sound effects mode, I only played a few levels in this mode, versus hours in classic mode.

I will have to test that.

Looks awesome Any way to run this from HD? At least using DiskImageGui the game starts to load, but hangs there. A few other adf's work fine with the same setup.

Visuals are awesome! Compliments. I have the same from an stock A1200 launching fromout Workbench. Running from disk on boot, no problem.

I have 3 requests to make it even more awesome.

1. Normally on the MSX you get a sound effect when the door closes when you finished the level at 1:05 : [ Show youtube player ] Can this be implemented as well?

2. can the sound be put in stereo more clean: [ Show youtube player ] I cannot explain it, same as this: https://youtu.be/F1zK_IuSnVk?t=76
no real critics, but it would make it more pleasant for the experience.

3. Kings valley 2 port!!

I wish I had any skill coding for the Amiga I'm just a lowly PC pleb when it comes to programming.

Looks like I need to play the arcade version, it looks like it has a little more action to it.

Never heard of it before, but it's cool and an awesome conversion. Thanks!
Wrote it to disk and played it on the miggy and crt.
It really get's harder quickly each level, but hey I guess that makes it even more a real 80s game
@TjLaZer: Nice!
