Sure, there's a place where you can add a JTAG connector (5x2 pins) and hook a programmer to it. I did that to update my accelerator. It would require some soldering expertise though.
Looking at the project files, I can see a big update in April 19 and a small bugfix in September 19: https://gitlab.com/MHeinrichs/68EC02...commits/master Edit: If your card is older than Sep'19 and you don't mind shipping it to Denmark, I can update it for you. Return shipping should be ~10GBP. Last edited by demolition; 18 September 2020 at 17:42. |

Thanks I might take you up on that.
Are there any online guides for flashing these cards? Last edited by Hiddenevil; 20 September 2020 at 01:37. Reason: predictive text foul up |

Any online guides
I was typing on my phone and it put guys instead of guides..I didn't see it until i logged in just now. I wondered if i might be able to flash it myself. I wouldn't mind knowing if there was some way to determine what version of the firmware it is currently running. |

Here's a video of how to program a Xilinx CPLD: [ Show youtube player ] Those USB programmers (Platform Cable USB) are somewhat expensive if you only need to use it for a single device. There are also parallel port programmers (Xilinx Parallel Cable IV) but I am not sure if they are much cheaper. There's a schematic of a parallel port programmer in here so you can make one yourself: https://www.xilinx.com/support/docum...des/xtp029.pdf This is the file that needs to be programmed: https://gitlab.com/MHeinrichs/68EC02...-REV01-PCB.jed |
