The red boing ball is an Aminet hack. Can not seem to find it but someone will perhaps remember the name of the archive. As said above, MCP can do the other thing with the titlebar, install it and set the titlebar in prefs for MCP.

I actually tried MCP, it just showed a blank titlebar. Does anyone know of anything that will do a similar job?

The tittle info can be done with MCP, you may have to set up the info string though. the boing ball is probably amiboing, you drop it in WBstartup to get a small pic in the corner. It's on aminet.
