Seconds Out

Anyone have a manual to this game?

Are you supposed to somehow unleash a KO punch when your meter is filled? If so how?

Also the 5th and last opponent seems ridiculously hard, is that bugged or is there a trick?

Double Tapping space bar on ADF shows a "Well Done" Message in game, but Space Bar does nothing with the WHDLoad version?

Also ADF, has a wired frame on your character and WHDLoad has a more green mech frame...

Any more insight knowledge on this game would be helpful

On the second picture I can make out part of the German instructions: "Joystick up with pressed button starts the KO attack" (very rough translation)

Up + Fire Doesn't seem to do anything when meter is filled.

I'll upload the bit here. Maybe somebody else can translate it better or maybe it just doesn't work?

Only if we could confirm that the same manual was used for the Amiga version and ask Atarimania for allowing us to use their scan (which I might do at some point)

Thank you for confirming that the manual states that 'Up + firebutton' is the right combination (at least on ST ).

And then finding out that the data disk was only released for the PC or C64, but never for the ST or Amiga... yeah those things are quite interesting

Seconds Out Manual
Atari ST english text is the same as the german.

Perhaps it means "Joystick up with fire button already pressed" ?
Did you try this ?

Tried many different combinations but was unsuccessful in pulling the KO move.

Fire button Press with joystick already up doesnt work

Up and Fire when opponent is dazed only give a normal punch.

If anyone can pull it off, please explain how...

According to that its just a normal right hook punch when the meter if full... But that unfortunetly does nothing.

its a standard punch

just curious, cause that disk label is not on hol and it says not for sale on the side?

also, spooky message :

'Due to the protection used on this disk any use of a copying program will damage the original disk...'

Nope. Just found screen on some auction or something.

BTW
I OCRed this manual from picture. Maybe could be handy:
Seconds Out.pdf

Interesing is that in manual additional DATA DISK is mentioned.

This release is also missing from HOL:

seems working here (winuae) but:
you need to fill all the triangles with your color (orange) before
when all the 'triangles bar' is filled, the ko icon becomes bigger and beats faster

at that point you can use fire+up to release the knock-down fist, that in effect is a normal fist btw differently than the left and right fists, seems the only one that knock down your rival
