Because you will need to remove the "Run> Nil:" to choose the parameters, AmiModRadio started from Shell will play without the GUI, see attached video http://eab.abime.net/zone/AmiModRadio-StartCLI.avi |

I can't use Run because it won't work... . You can run a Mui program like IBrowse with it I've already told about it working without the Gui in my post. |

Sorry, I was complaining a bit about why Thomas decided to insert that message about that Mui redraw. Well, he told from the beginning and he must be very angry, just my thoughts. But at least, from the shell you can iconify it as I've told. Edit: Try running IBrowse with Run: it will run. IBrowse is a MUI program just like this. And it didn't appear before with MUI5. That's why I comment that he added it (unless it was something in the code that tygre changed in some version).

I mean that we must play with the rules (his), there is no other way. To tell the truth, I like when I run AmiModRadio because all of the colors on the background seem to have like an attack (should I like this?) ... The screen changes colors and so. It looks like we are breaking many things/rules... It's showing that something isn't working very well indeed. Last edited by Retrofan; 19 August 2021 at 01:54. |

AmiModRadio v0.99992 with "HippoPlayer v2.47" get error No enough memory
With previous versions of AmiModRadio, the error does not seem to exist Last edited by AMIGASYSTEM; 06 September 2021 at 17:32. |

Hi AmigaSystem!
Thank you for testing AMR with the latest Hippo! I wanted to do it over the week-end Does this error happen with any module? Take care! |

I don't know it happened a couple of times the request "No enough memory"!
AmiModRadio 0.99992 + Hip v.247 = AmiModRadio plays but all the keys get stuck, can't stop the music or close AmiModRadio AmiModRadio 0.9996 + Hip v.247= Perfect, everything works fine, even the "MUI_Redraw" problem doesn't exist ! |

Regarding MUI_Redraw, it makes sense because v0.9996 was not "multithreaded" yet Thanks! |

Yes, AMR doesn't want to work with the update of HiP. I was wondering if I could use Delitracker II, but with his icon hidden. I don't want to have it there.
Edit: I've contacted Kari-Pekka and he is interested in resolving this issue. With his debugger (https://github.com/koobo/HippoPlayer...dist/HiP-debug) I've seen that "ImportFavoriteModulesFromDisk" is disabled in Prefs. Last edited by Retrofan; 12 September 2021 at 00:48. |

You can also use Eagleplayer, it works well and stays hidden like Hip

AmiModRadio Works just enabling Favorites on Hip
Edit: Please, AmigaSystem, just confirm that I'm true about that. Latest version of HiP. Edit2: It now plays the music, but it won't quit or stop and so... Last edited by Retrofan; 12 September 2021 at 00:59. |

I was about to search for that, thanks. As I'm seing AMR doesn't pause or stop or quits with any player. I've tried a couple like now Delitracker 2 and it only stops playing from Delitracker itself. |

Delitracker 2 is not good for its GUI, that's why I was recommending Eagleplayer which doesn't have this problem.

But HiP works nice with AMR 0.9996 as you said. Also iconifying works now even.
Edit: But I'm seeing that, as I told, it will only work right if on HiP you have enabled the Favorites option. BTW, I love to see my iconified icon of AmiModRadio. It taked time to make it with CorelDraw and I love it. Last edited by Retrofan; 12 September 2021 at 04:56. |

@Retrofan
AMR 09996 is perfect if you use the old version of Hip, doing a bit of testing I found that it does not work well with the new version of Hip. To be sure that AMR uses the new version of Hip you have to delete "totally" the old Hip from our HD. @Tygre Regarding the "No enough memory" error, it seems to be caused by the AHI setting on the Hip, but I'm not sure because it rarely happens. Question: How do you Play modules from HD via "Modules Direcrory" ? |
