VistaPro will not run - please help

I have got the zipped archive from the ftp and a set of install disks. I've tried both on my Amiga Forever 8 OS 3.x setup and a custom OS 3.0 setup using latest Winuae and HDF. Neither setup works. No error messages, no crashes, just nothing. The ftp zip uses a script to test for the presence of an fpu and runs the relevant version accordingly. Nothing . Nada. No way, Jose, etc ad nauseam. Anyone have any suggestions please? Cheers.

Try SnoopDOS, this will show you if there are files or libraries/devices it expects but are missing.

It's been a long time since I used this, but I seem to remember that on my A4000 running a CGX screen as workbench, I needed to switch to a PAL display (in a script) before running whatever version of VistaPro I had. Otherwise it just didn't start.
It could be something completely different, but worth a try anyway

Snoopdos didn't give me anything helpful unfortunately, but I'd forgotten about this useful tool

Another website with an old thread mentions trying ModePro, but it sounded like a pain.

Changing from a UAE screen mode to standard pal/pal laced fixed it. Not the ideal solution but I'm easily pleased.
