New a500 56pin header
Hi
Anybody know where I can get a new 56pin header (on the motherboard) for trapdoor memory expansion on the a500. Mine has been damaged. Last edited by xraynorm; 29 December 2018 at 14:04. |

It's pretty ordinary 0.1 inch pin header, should be plentiful on eBay, e.g.:

@Vypr
Those are available also, although again probably not in the exact length: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/322064970947 They can be cut by pulling out the pins from the correct spot and snipping with pliers. A file or sand paper will take care of the burrs, probably won't even notice that it has been cut if you do a tidy job. |

Ah, it's the kind where the other row has pins right at the front? That may indeed be more difficult to find.
The one I built was not a A501 exactly but a clone, which uses the "ordinary" layout for the connector. |
