I'm not sure if that's down to UAE or not - I remember people reporting vastly different speeds etc. on seemingly similar set-ups. Also the code hasn't been properly optimized yet.
The difficulty is basically down to a lack of playtesting - I've been meaning to tone it down for a while now, a lot of people have said it's rather difficult, partly because some of the waves are a bit vicious and partly because the controls are a bit too sensitive. It will all be sorted out in time (I hope). |

Awesome. As long as the game is playtested, optimised and modified until it's right, it'll be good. Best to be patient and hold off releasing the final game until it's perfect, you've gotta hate it when a new game comes out that really should have had a few more weeks testing and tweaking.

Definitely agree there - that's been my thinking from day one. I don't want to release the game early for the sake of it.
