How to make WHDload install with .IPF?
Hello,
I got snowbros .ipf image, but I'm unable to install it directly to my A1200 from the .ipf file that was provided. I suspect this is because to install from the file, you need installer 44.10; which I got is 43.3-- and that one only allows installing from floppy disk..even in expert mode. But maybe someone could point me to what I'm possibly missing? Yes, I could dump the .adf into disk; but I would rather not go through all that trouble since I have understood that you *can* make the install directly from the .ipf..? And for the record, I do have the latest rawdic and stuff. Any help is preciated, thanks! |

Proceed just if you were going to install from disk. When RawDIC appears and asks for disk 1, you'll notice a button "select file" in the middle. Push it, and select the first .IPF file. Then, press "start". Repeat the operation with the second disk. Done (you need RawDIC 4.0 for this) |

I tried it, but pressing the 'select' button does not do anything.. I wonder what's wrong??
I do have the latest RawDIC I think (downloaded it from the link that CFOU provided in the snowbros thread) but perhaps it is in the wrong path? I extracted it in the SYS/C: folder. I also copied it in the install folder as I'm not exactly sure where it should be (perhaps I should spend more time reading the documentation.. I know..) I can doublecheck the RawDIC version tonight that its version 4.0 but I don't what else I could do. |

You have not capsimage.device here for download: http://www.softpres.org/?id=download and perhaps trackwarp.library is missing too here for download: http://www.whdload.de/whdload/ |
