hi,i've downloaded some preinstalled HD games,all of them work fine but two.Robinson's reguiemAGA and Rise of the robotsAGA.When i try to run them,i got the same message:"DOS-Error #205 (object not found) on reading "devs:kickstarts/kick 40068.a4000".Does some1 know what the problem is.Your suggestions are very appreciated.Thanx Jonathan

You need to place the said file (amiga 4000 kickstart rom) to the said location (devs/kickstarts/ folder in the drive you booted from) with this exact name (kick 40068.a4000) before running this whdload game.

did you look, if you have the specified file?
the massage states it couldnt find a file named "kick 40068.a4000" in the folder "devs:kickstarts", so you should look there if it exists. if it is not there thats your problem

hi,i've downloaded skick345 file from aminet,i've got all files i need to put in devs/kickstart directory including RTB files.i've put them all there,however the games still won't work.i believe,i need to make a kickrom image out of them.i've tried Grabkick program,but i can't make rom images out of them.Is it even possible to do that using winuae or do i need actual Amiga computer?or is there any place to download them as images already?i apologize if those questions are silly,but i'm new to amiga and never had an amiga machine before.ty

You should read the FAQs, manuals and all...

Kickstart image requests are not allowed.

Posting the same shit acros many forums isn't allowed. I merged the two remaining threads.
