I have linked to this thread all files to translate.

If you are interested in this work. You need just toranswer to this thread and send to me (or to upload in TheZone) the 3 transated files.

Thanx in advance,

Bertrand/CFou

see too for translation:
Uomo ragno/Spiderman

ps: I am in hollidays on 01/04/2006 to 08/04/2006 but you can start work without me.

if you are technical question, you can also ask to DLFRSILVER , He have already to start to translate Spiderma in french

thanks Marco but warning!!!!!!

for the moment, you CAN'T change text length

I will works after my holliday on a better relative source... for the moment , i have not fully understand the file format

But game are less sentence than Uomo Ragno and the sentence are more short, so is more easy to translate with same length.
I hope I will can found qwicky a better solution

I'll RETURN
B.J.

Well, I have read some of the files... there are some problems. Some translations maybe too long (or too short). Ops, I'm italian too.

I can help... but we need some time of flexibility in length.

For example "Eccomi" is translated in "Here I am" 9 chars over 6 of italian...
So, the first sentence will be from

dc.b "Eccomi_davanti_alla_grata",00

to

dc.b "Here_I_am_before_the_grating",00

we can strip out the Here, but we cannot always do the same.
But, we can find a solution...don't worry!

Bye!

"Here_I_am_at_the_grating_" or else change the whole meaning of the phrase, but remaining in context of the scene, but this requires to play the whole game beforehand to test the possibilities

Here_I_am_before_a_grate
I'm_here_before_the_grate

Exactly 25 chars. I think "grating" can be replaced by "grate".

No pressure now CFOU! (you've probably received 50+ PMs while you've been away asking when it will be done).

Really though, take your time. We have all waited 15 years or whatever it is to see this game. Another few weeks will not harm anyone.... Good luck and hope that it turns out to be sucessful

meaning you want to play the game or translating it? i currently cannot help in translations, but these series games i remember not to like when they got out in the nineties, quite unplayable or uninteresting. maybe i am wrong, just a matter of taste.

I've just completed the first part of Diabolik, apparently the only one that's available in English. Although I'm not satisfied with the gameplay itself, but I found the storyline interesting - the cutscenes are top-notch! - and I'd like to see (and understand) more. So I started searching and found this thread.

Just out of curiosity, let me ask... is this project still underway? As DamienD mentioned, it'd be really great to finally play these series in English after so many years after their release.
